Parents, coaches and officials play a vital role in building the self-esteem and character of every child in this league. Players will look to there parents, coaches, and officials as models for sportsmanship, respect for authority, and positive attitudes. Together we can provide a lasting effect in these children that will last long after the end of the season.

The early registration cost per child for basketball is $70; after October 29, the cost is $95.
The early registration cost per child for cheerleading is $75; after October 29, the cost is $100.
Deadline for registration is October 31.
Basketball shorts are optional at a cost of $13.
Cheerleading mock turtlenecks are optional at a cost of $13.

Everyone must attend one basketball evaluation or cheerleading orientation.
They will take place at the Avalon Missionary Church Family Life Center as follows:
Kindergarten through 8th Grade Boys/Girls
Saturday, October 15, between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
Monday, October 17, between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday, October 18, between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
Saturday, October 22, between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
*Players must turn 5 by January 1, 2012. Also, players must be age 14 if in the 8th Grade.
**Please have your child wear gym clothes for evaluations. This will help them during the events.

On game days you will receive a call from your coach. If FWCS are closed, we will cancel practice.
